What is noni juice?
Noni juice is a tropical drink derived from the fruit of the Morinda citrifolia tree. This tree grows among lava flows in Southeast Asia, especially in Polynesia.
Noni tree is a lumpy, mango-sized fruit that is yellow in color. It’s very bitter and has a distinct odor that is sometimes compared to stinky cheese.
Polynesian peoples have used noni in traditional folk medicine for over 2,000 years. It’s commonly used to treat health issues like constipation, infections, pain, and arthritis. Today, noni is mostly consumed as a juice blend. The juice is packed with potent antioxidants and may provide several health benefits.
Noni contains 150 useful ingredients for the body, including vitamins, trace elements, amino acids, serotonin, melatonin, cacbohydrates, enzymes, su-flavones and phytochemiscal alkaloids. All of these are the ingredients promoting the effects of the fruit.
The most important ingredient: In fruits, there are over 140 minerals, vitamins, amino acids and enzymes that are indispensable to the body. There are also some components that are only in noni fruits: carbohydrate, proxeronine and 7 hydroxy 6 methyl coumarin. Scientists have shown that noni can produce melatonin helping sleep well and maintaining emotional stability.
