Medicinal properties of chilli

Gochugaru is a variety used in Korean cuisine traditionally made from sun-dried Korean red chili peppers known as taeyang-cho. Kashmiri chili powder is bright red, but mild in heat and used in Indian cuisine, named after the region of Kashmir.
Preservation
Chilli powder can be well preserved for more than a year if properly stored. Store in a tightly closed jar and keep away from light. If the amount of chilli powder is large, it can be refrigerated.
